DE GHOST is the new solo electronica/glitch/ambient project of Swiss producer Sknail.

"Luxe", the first single from the album of the same name, won the 2nd prize at the Electron Festival Track Contest 2020.

The sound of De Ghost is a clever mix of rythmic glitch, sometimes coupled with DnB beats, deep bass and atmospheric pads. Voices from the distant past also make occasional appearances.

Although instrumental, "Luxe" and its 10 tracks with a sober and minimalist aesthetic, proposes a track of reflection on the global warming and the problems which we are going to face if nothing changes :

«In the near future, luxury will be to frequent "pure air bars". When the atmosphere of this overheated planet will be saturated with CO2, we will enjoy pure air "as before" in hyper select clubs. The cylinders containing the rare and precious nectar will have replaced the Champagne jumps.»

The cover of the album, made by the American multimedia artist ENO, as well as all the other visuals and videos, evokes one of these clubs, in which you would get your dose of freshness and pure air while listening to De Ghost's music.
